The third trip of Klasika: Jurbarkas – Smalininkai – Bitėnai – Pagėgiai

On 13 June (Saturday), the members of the Klasika Club together with their colleagues went on a two-day trip to Panemunė. Early in the morning, after the caravan of classic cars moved from Kaunas, the first destination of the trip – Jurbarkas Manor Park – appeared soon. An exhibition of vintage cars was planned here by prior agreement with the Jurbarkas Tourist Centre. After displaying the antique vehicles for the residents and guests, the Klasika Club members visited the museum of the sculptor Vincas Grybas.

The second trip of Klasika: Kubilkiemis, Sugar Festival and Paežeriai Manor

On beautiful Saturday morning of 30 May, the members of the Antique Automobile Club Klasika started their second trip in their vintage cars. This time they chose Marijampolė and Vilkaviškis districts. In Kaunas, when several friends from the Antique Cars Association Old Buckets joined the Klasika’s company, a column of eleven vintage cars hit the road. After reaching Marijampolė, the antique cars first visited the so-called „Kubilkiemis“ museum. Mr Kęstutis Kubilius, the owner of this museum, welcomed the travellers at the door of the spacious building of the museum and showed its rich and interesting collections of vintage cars, motorcycles, trucks and other antiques.

The first trip of Klasika. The season is opened!

The 2020 season of the Antique Automobile Club Klasika began on 23 May, when a group of club members invited their friends and colleagues and organized a tour of antique cars around Panemunė visiting its castles and picturesque surroundings. As many as 22 antique cars gathered there, uniting 59 fans and lovers of antique vehicles.

RYGA 19/08/2019, THE FREEDOM MONUMENT

In the beautiful morning of the second day, all the participants of the 30th anniversary of the Baltic Way moved from the Riga Motor Museum towards the centre of Riga as a large convoy exactly at the scheduled time. The Horch 853, that had become the Latvian flag bearer, began its journey on the march, and was joined by several unique World War II cars. The participants were joined not only by them, but also by a dozen of Soviet and Western cars and motorcycles.

„Baltic Way 30“ – the First Day of a Vintage Car Tour

On August 18-20, 2019, in order to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the Baltic Way, the enthusiasts of vintage vehicles from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, driving the historic cars, repeated the historic Baltic Way on the Vilnius-Riga-Tallinn route. This vintage car tour was not only the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Baltic Way, but also the first joint event of vintage car clubs of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia that has happened since the restoration of independence of the three states. Noteworthy is that the participants of the event drove along the entire authentic way not missing any road or town through which the Thread of Liberty naturally stretched 30 years ago and which still inspires freedom defenders around the world.

Collectors and Restorers Day in Bikernieki (Latvia)

On August 31st and September 1st , Latvian Antique Auto Club organizes a day of collectors and restorers in Bikernieki (Latvia). In Lithuania, the event is also known as Iškilė market.
This event has been held for more than thirty years, and usually twice a year. It is designed not only to restorers, collectors of antique technique, but also for people who love the vintage art treasures, are interested in antiques, and want to find like-minded friends.
