The Antique Vehicle Caravan Visits the Citizens of Kupiškis

When the sun is shining outside, the Antique Vehicle Club “Klasika” is becoming one of the most active clubs in Lithuania. It was founded in 2008 and the club members do not miss an opportunity to show to all Lithuanian citizens, that in our country there is no shortage of enthusiasts who have a weakness for old, in car history books described cars.
Last weekend (July 11th), a large number of Club “Klasika” members went to Kupiškis to take place in the traditional festival “Lingaudala”. Town guests and residents were able to enjoy not only “Lingaudala” festival generated sounds, but also to admire the Antique Vehicle Club “Klasika” members steered jewels.
As members of the club are driving at more recent than the 30-year-old cars, in Kupiškis town, they demonstrated such cars as: “Buick Riviera”, “Studebaker Commander Regale Coupe”, “BMW 328” or “Mercury Comet Caliente”.
However, among the rare American cars which are met on European roads not often, there were some models that are well known to many citizens of our country, such as “Lada 2106”, “GAZ 21” and “Moskvich 427”.
The Antique Vehicle Club “Klasika” does not plan to stop. On the 1st of August, an international meeting of antique vehicles “Timeless Klasika 2015” will take place in Biržai.
