Antique and Classic Cars in the Calendar 2019
Christmas holidays and their expectations are related to one or another tradition. Christmas trees are decorated, greetings are sent, gifts are given, and other pleasant festive occasions are done.
As usual, from time immemorial, holidays and other important information are reminded to us by calendar numbers: over time, changing its form, and now maybe slightly less visible, but quickly found on your phone, computer or other household appliance. It’s a pity that we are decreasingly faced with the traditional form of calendar.

Antique Car Show “Timeless Classic 2018” – Movie
Over recent years, the “Timeless Classic” has become a traditional, ever-changing event that brings together the best and most interesting antique exhibits to Lithuania. On the first weekend of August, exhibits not only from the Baltic States but also from Eastern and Western Europe arrive for the event. A total of 123 antique cars and motorcycles arrived. Participants gathered from seven countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Germany, Poland and Russia.

Antique Car Meeting – Timeless Classic 2017 (video)
This year’s Antique Vehicle Show “Timeless Classic”, as always, was held on the first weekend of August. So, on the 5th of August, on Saturday, the antique and classic cars, which flooded Biržai region, gathered in the Sodeliškiai Manor. The event brought together 119 antique vehicles. Of these: 112 cars, 3 motorcycles and 4 trucks. Participants of the event even came from eight countries: Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Belarus, Germany, Poland and Lithuania.

Gintautas Miškinis – The Guest of Club ,,Klasika”
Kaunas resident Gintautas Miškinis, drives Packard 333 Limousine, 1925. Love for vehicles has been accompanying him from childhood. About an antique car, he had been dreaming since he was 23 years old. He already managed to buy this historic luxury limousine only at the age of fifty years. The car had belonged to a priest in the United States for 40 years and had seen not many roads. The owner said that it rolls nicely and it is a pleasure to feel the atmosphere of those times. Juris Gagainis – The Guest of Club ,,Klasika”
A stylish couple, dressed in World War II American aviation service uniforms in the military vehicle Willys MB, produced in 1943, attracted a lot of the attention in the Festival. There were Juris Gagainis, a professor of Latvian Art Academy of Design Faculty with his wife. The interview with guests revealed that the ancient technique club “Klasika” is well-known in Latvia too. The professor got interested in Biržai Festival by his colleagues who participated in the club events last year. Juris Gagainis really liked the atmosphere of celebration and honest, a lot of questioning, interested festival goers. About his military vehicle professor said that the U.S. handed a lot of such cars – war participants on the Soviet Union. But now there is not much left, although it was produced in thousands…

Panevezys District Municipality rewards Klementas Sakalauskas with an Honorary Title
Nobleman Klementas Sakalauskas, a known collector and public figure, became the ninth person to receive Panevezys Distict Municipality’s Citizen of Honor title. It is pleasant news that his works – which are always accompanied by honesty, honor, belief and love – are not forgotten and rewarded.
