The antique vehicle lovers of each country have of what to be proud. If in Lithuania two best Retro technique events take place in Pasvalys (“We drive”) and Biržai (“Timeless Classic”), the Latvian fans of antiquities still gather in Riga (“Riga Retro”) and Jurmala (“Retro Jurmala”). What is more, those mentioned events long have gone beyond its borders and have been popular not only in neighboring countries. The Antique technique meeting Retro Jurmala 2016 was no exception and was held on the last August weekend, August 27-28. The event was attended by participants from Russia, Belarus, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania and Latvia. The warm and calm Baltic sea, beautiful and sunny weather, abundance of vintage vehicles surprised not only the residents of Jurmala, but also the resort guests. As it was said by the event organizer Maris Mežapuķe, antique vehicle festival was attended by 160 vehicles: 27 motorcycles, 132 cars and
1 tractor.
In this festival, the Antique Vehicle Club “Klasika” was represented by seven vintage cars.
